Hey all, I'm new to your forums, so I'm sorry if this has been answered before.

I am looking for an aftermarket tank for an 86 XJ700, pretty much as big as you think I can cram on there, and also some elevated drag bars (the kind that go straight up for 6" or so then are flat accross like normal draggers. Anybody have any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance :)

you could get six inch dog bones and run regular drag bars.

You're pretty much out of luck for any kind of drop-on tank -- you're going to be fabricating anything to get bigger than stock.

You're probably better off looking at a pony or touring tank from various online sources, and using that with the stock tank.

    Dog bones = brilliant! :)

As to the tank, we wanted a bigger one more for the look than anything else ;) We'll go stock for a while and see what fabrication costs look like.
