    interesting that a 700 made it up there as most NON US models were 750's as the US Gov had a high tax tarif on any imported bikes over 700cc's to help out Harley Davidson. Nice looking bike tho.

    I have heard about the US restrictions on bikes many years back. However I personnally own a 1985 Maxim 700 and so does a friend of mine. That friend's bike was the one that I learned to ride on, he let me ride his bike to build up my riding skills. Talk about good friends hein!!

    Any other Canadian 1985 Maxim 700 out there? I am sure there has got to be some.
