When I first start out on a ride and if I don't use my clutch much, it works just fine. But, when the bike is warmed up and I've been city riding for about 20 min., my clutch starts getting really hard to engage. It seems to work okay as far as shifting goes but getting it to engage is really tough. If I don't figure out what it is soon my left arm is going to look like a popeye arm.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Lube or replace the clutch cable. Check the other linkage points and lube them.

Also check the cable ROUTING. If your bike is one where the clutch cable passes close to/thru the headers, make sure a cable tieback hasn't broken allowing the cable to come in contact with the exhaust.

Thanks for the advice. Already checked and lubed the cable. Turns out it is the bearing going bad. When they start going bad and they heat up, it makes the engagement process very tough. Getting a whole clutch assembly tomorrow so should have the problem resolved soon.

i have roughly the same problem. but mine is always hard to pull cold or warm. I just figured it was because it was an older bike and the technology for making it easy wasnt there. ill try lubbing the cable but thats the least of my worries, for now im just trying to get her to run properly :)
