    Hey Huys,
I finally got my bike with all the new bits put back together last week. So I took the battery off the charger and threw it back onto the bike. Turned the key and ...nothing. Turned over fine, just no spark. So I started chasing down shorts, coils, plugs and the works with no joy. So, back to the drawing board I went. The week went by, and today after work, I moved my bike to the other side of the garage, and just out of habit I held in the clutch (I was on the left side of the bike for the first time since I've been trying to start it) and the damn thing fired up. I can hear a click as I first pull in the clutch. Is this the neutral switch causing this problem or maybe a relay?
    Cheers, Mac

check your kickstand switch .. also known as side stand switch. i am assuming it still does it after starting and running through the gears. and back to neutral.

    Thanks Guys,
After several seconds of deep thought and research...well, I put up the kick stand and it started. I realize it's my kick stand switch. Now it boils down to trying to fix it. I'm sure I saw thread on this somewhere once upon a time. Anyway, thanks for the help again.
    Cheers Mac
