Anyone have any experience with these? I have a line on one, but was looking for some feedback. Looks somewhat familiar in many places.

It's a later development of the XJ600; not a bad bike, more or less a Seca II without the swoopiness.

I just googled the interwebs for some photos. Those bike are cool, I'd get it if I were you. They even have square headlights. Go '80's!

KT3, my brother has an 86 he bought new. Loved it. Really quick bike, top end limited by gearing to around 125 mph. Handles great. I was on a CB750F Super Sport when he bought it. Took it for a ride, lifted my cheek to fart and took a right. A lot lighter than the 750 I was used to.

I say get it. You'll like it!!

Like I said, it's an FJ600 dragged forward in time. It was Yamaha's attempt to counter the suddenly-popular (at the time) "almost a standard" Honda Nighthawk and I think it's a better bike. They dug back into the parts room for some XJ/FJ600 bits and came up with a nice little bike that is like a more modern version of the Seca 550 than anything else, but a bit more civilized.

If you can, ride it before you decide. I think you'll like it. (except for the headlight.)
