Sunny and warm today in Maryland. Perfect for a cruise through the twisties to historic Annapolis. They set aside several spots for unlimited motorcycle parking.

Only 20 minutes after being there, I saw so many different makes and models of bike. It was bewildering and very cool. Everyone was mellow and easy going. Plenty of bike talk, pretty girls, drink and good food around. What gets me is that plenty of people really like my old bike! I guess I'd better clean it up nicer for show and tell.

It's going to be a great spring and summer!

we got cold rian and snow today dang it, and more forcast for Wed. My dead line for riding solely the bike to work and back was the 1st of April. But with snow in the cast that prob won't hapen I ride in the cold down to 20*F but if there is ice on the roads all bets are off and I will call it safe and drive the cage.

Ouch. Sympathy for you guys. Do they plow the ash off the road or just let it sit there?

The ash ended up getting plowed off the road. Not so much because it was ash, but about 2 hours after I posted that, it snowed 3".

Seriously, studded Maxim tires are coming soon.

You stuff your spring weather. Here in the great state of SD we're getting another round of winter. Here in Mitchell it's raining hard and the snow will start very soon. We're expecting 10-12 inches.

I'm genuinely sorry to hear that Buff. The temps here are still teetering on the edge of being rideable. We're lucky that the roads and sky are clear.

Your turn will come. I just hope we don't have an early winter to cut it short.

Hey Sushi, were you down at the city dock? That's a great place to hang out. My wife just loves looking at the midshipmen in their dress whites. She has a uniform thing.

The weather as I write is full tilt blizzard. 8 inches on the groung already and not due to stop til late today, I expect 12 inches before we're through. The wind it also howling with gusts up to 50 mph.
    The sun will come eventually.

Hey Gitbox, yeah I was at the dock. That's fine, let the wife look all she wants and you can do the same with the biker groupees and wanna-bee's that come by. I am by no means a handsome man and I had a couple of girls that looked as if they wanted to jump on the back and go.

When are YOU comin' down? :)

As soon as I can, Sushi.

I still don't trust the old XJ two hours away from home yet. I just recently got the carbs cleaned right and now my front brakes need an overhaul. It runs real good but stopping good is important too.

We've had some decent riding weather around here recently. Unfortunately I had hernia surgery last Thursday, so I can't ride just yet. Maybe next weekend?
