So ive done alot to my xj700 and never had a problem with her until now....cold she starts up great, but after she warms up if i cut her off she will not restart, just turns over and over and over. But if i leave her alone for a while, and i mean like near an hour, she will start.
    Help any thoughts?

Try putting the petcock on PRI. (It could have developed "laziness.")

Try opening the gas cap. If it fires right up, you have a plugged vent.

Dont think its fuel because if i try and start it long enough she will flood (and the battery will drain) cant imagine its the vent because most of the time the only time i was stopping and going again was to stop for gas and if it was the vent wouldnt opening the tank releave the pressure?.....but i could be wrong of course.

Well i think its def spark related, but why only when the bike has warmed up?cold she starts everytime. This is a frustrating problem :(
