as well as other bikes? Honestly, I've counted over 50 bikes I've owned total, I'll put down some of the most notable (just for the sake of the post, I've owned 2 xj550s, 2 xj 650s, 2 xj750s, 1 xj700 air head, and 3 xj700max x's {one of which resides with my father, and one resides with me})
Among the noteable, and ones I wish to have in my stable some day again are (in no specific order)
1982 xj750 (have one right now)
    1985 xj700 x (have one right now)
1986 Honda magna vf700c (just picked one up running for $500)
1994 Honda vfr 750 (all time favorite bike, hands down)
    1999 Honda f4
    1999 Honda vfr 800
One of my most notable finds was a wrecked xj650 with another bike with it. I remember finding the factory carbs IN THE BOX, and I paid $250 for the entire lot (it included two bikes, extra frame, extra wheels, forks, and perfect guages)

    what about you folks??

    I had a '82 XJ550, and now have a '86 XJ700 X. You can't find bikes quite like these anymore!

I started with a CB650 Custom, which turned me off Hondas to this day.

Then it was a GS550E, a GT380 two stroke triple, a GS1000S with an 1100E motor, a Seca 900, a Seca Turbo, my current GS1100E and the lateset, an XS650 Heritage Special, which I may or may not keep, seeing as I have been offered 3X what I paid for it already. I seem to be stuck on old Yamahas and Suzukis, although I have always liked Kawasakis.

My ultimate XJ would be the 650 Seca with a Maxim X or 900 motor in it. I saw one with a Maxim X motor in it once on the old XJ Owners website gallery. It was drool-worthy.

Just the two I have now.

I've had my Norton since it was brand new, and other notables are in my sig. Too many bikes over the past 43 years to list them all.

I really wish I had hung onto the '72 Triumph 500.

I have owned two. Now I am down to approximately one and two thirds because I am using one for parts for the other.
