Any Idea how the swooped back handle bars (they kinda reach back towards you) handlebars would look, feel, perform on my 1981 Seca 750? My brother has a 1985 Honda V-45 and i like the feel and positioning of his bars, just dont know how effective they would be on a Seca.

find a maxim owner who wants to swap... I think they're called buckhorn bars.

Check out some pictures of maxims - just not the ones in my gallery as I switched to seca bars.

I've a set of stock maxim bars (with all the hardware for mounting) that I'd be more then happy to get off my storage shelf.

I'd get some pics up tonite but I only have web access while at work this week.

They're in fine shape and I cleaned them up best I could after I removed them.

Check the pictures of my bike in my gallery, I have a set of higher pulled back bars on mine now. I am doing the oposite thing though, I ordered a set if sport style bars like the stock ones so I can swap back. I like the bars I have now but I just want a change. The big problem is finding a front brake cable. The stock is too short and it is not a comon setup so good luck finding one. I had a shop make one for mine but it only lasted 2 1/2 years, right now I have another cable rigged up (yeah scarry thought, riging a front brake).

Thanks guys, my bike is just like yours (black & red) fox. I really like the look of the buckhorn bars, but if they are gonna be pain in the ass(cables) I guess i will stick with the stock ones.

I have yet to find a cable tha will work. I got one for a Yamaha 4 wheeler front brake and it almost works but the travel is just a little too short. If you do go ahead with the taller bars and find a longer cable then please let me know.

You could always run a handlebar mounted master cylinder but I don't know what size you would need to run both calipers and anti-dive units.
