Whats easier?

Well, i should be getting a new bike pretty soon, and heres the situation, the "new" bikes engien is fine, carbs are bad and rear brake is locked open, so i was thinking of swapping just the carbs and rear tire and brakes, how hard is that job? it has to be easier than swapping engines, well, i would also have to take off my tank, side covers, fenders, etc, but thats jsut taking bolts out and whatnot.
the new bike has a title also, so is that what i should do? Then i'm just going to combine parts and make an uber bike, and either keep some important parts for spares, boots, tires, etc, and part out the rest. does this sound like a solid idea?

 

If you're looking for a definitive answer to this, I think you'd have to make your best judgement based on the condition of the parts you have to work with.
Let's just say, there's really no easy way to do anything, there's a proper way.
Take the two, use the best of each and make a bike that's all your own.

 

I would wait to see exactly what you have. If you swap the carbs, you are going to have to go through a complete retune anyway. It may be easier to clean the existing carbs and then deal with the brake.

It's a 'pig in a poke' now, so just wait until you know exactly what you have. Too many variables - frame, gauges, etc.
