    Hey,
I was wondering if anyone had any links to luggage racks or a back seat rest for my year/model. Does anyone out there have any combination of these add-ons? Pix would be great to see.
Thanks in advance for any given help.

Sorry for not responding sooner.LEt me look in your gallery to see how similar are bikes are. Then let me reattach luggage rack and give u some measurements. It has been almost 2 years sinc eI took It off and have to remeber how it goes on.I think it connects to the bolts that hold rear signals on and somewhere under the seat.Ater it cools down I will try and get to this. Thanks John

No worries. By all means, please wait for it to cool down. It's been disgusting around my area too. Thanks for your help.

Sorry for the delay. After a quick look, I do not have the 3" spacer. But it also looks like we may have a different backseat layout. The back tire plastic gaurd comes down over the screws where the 3" spacer would be coming out. I would probably have to cut the plastic cover to make space. I'll try to post some pix soon so you can see what I am talking about.
    Thanks.

If you take off your turn signals the spacer goes between them and the brace for rack and signal housing.Look at picture 4 in the link above. It is the spacer without the backrest attached.I can send you the spacer and longer bolt if intersted in the back rest.

I see what you did now. You attached the 3" spacer and bolt to the grab rail hole. I thought you had it to the original blinker holes which are set up high under the back side fairing.

Is the truck that is attached to the unit able to be dettached or is it fixed on the rack?

    Thanks.

SOrry I had never even noticed there were bolt holes up under the plastic, when I got the bike I almost took the trunk off immediately.Only way i got it back on is everythig just lined up.Not really sure what that set of holes would normally be used for.

If your talking about the grab rail that sits on the back behind the seat, those are differnt holes. You can see my grab rail in pic 12.Rest just slides under it.

Right on. I have to apologize first though. I didn't mean grab rail for a passenger, I meant the grab rail for getting the bike up on the center stand. No biggie. Now in picture 11 of 15, are those some minor scuffs or are we dealing with a bad case of rust? Whatever it is, does that alter the structure to the point where it is unsafe to ride someone?
    Thanks for the help!

That is pitting in the chrome and not real bad.The p.o. painted over somw of it with grey paint which I took most off with brillo pad.The rest is very sturdy.
