Hi All...have found this site to be helpful the past few weeks,..figured I would join up today. I recently purchased [about 2 months ago] a 1986 XJ700 Maxim X, black, 23,000 miles. After taking care of a few minor issues, and today being our first really great weather day here in southwest Virginia,....I had it out for an initial 110 mile ride. Everything is great,..its a fantastic bike. I did have a 1982? XJ650 Seca I bought left-over in the mid eighties, and this bike brings back memories of that one.
Looking forward to many more miles this year, and some nice riding!

I was just asking about these water-cooled bikes. The word is that they haul butt. Yours looks great, so enjoy!
