I put a trunk on my bike. It's a new trunk with an led brake light. It's big enough to hold my daughter's gear since I have to pick her up or drop her off regularly. It's even got extra room for my rain suit and my lunch for work.

It was easy enough to mount once I cut off the back rest I had put on last year.

Nice looking, Mike. Where did you find that? Have you noticed any issues with center of gravity? How much weight is it weighted for?

    Just a few ??'s

I got it off of the 'bay. It was about $75 including shipping and it wasn't an auction, that was the 'buy it now' price. I would have to double check but I don't remember seeing a weight limit. It's sturdy enought that I wouldn't hesitate to put a couple of full-faced helmets or some groceries in it. I wouldn't load it up with dumbells though.

I haven't really noticed any change in handling due to it. But then, last year I was riding with a bag strapped to the luggage rack that held the stuff I put in the trunk.

It's just barely big enough for my XL full faced helmet and my daughter's S full faced helmet.

I cut off the backrest because I didn't have more angle aluminum. It would take only two pieces to replace it if I decided to go back to it.

I didn't see a weight limit in the documentation for the trunk.

Here are a few more pictures.

My buddy has the same trunk. It's BIG
I opted for a smaller one.

The practical aspect was key for me. I can now commute to work or job-sites easily with mostly whatever I need in the trunk and the laptop strapped on the back seat.

It makes a nice back-rest too.

JC Whitney has that same model I believe.
