    Hi all,

as a past user of the famous XJ Mailing list at micapeak and as a driver in the first global XJ-Relay, I finally found this forum.

My main bike hasn't been an XJ for some time now, it's its big brother V-Max  .
However, I still own a 1986 XJ700XS and the restauration is nearing it's end.

I was wondering: are some of the old gang around here?
Some names do come back to me, like: Dwayne Verhey, Brad Bowen, Rev. Carlton Larssen and Jeff "The Mountin Man"(R.I.P).

What has happend to the Relay Bag and to Jeff's Maxim X?

    Gotta go for now,

    see ya!

    Pat

The Relay ended in 2003 and the bag was returned to the guy that started the relay. I believe the bag is in a motorcycle museum in the Eastern US now.

    Welcome Pat,
Dwayne Verhey is still around and drops by once in a while, look him up on our membership roster. Brad Bowen had twins two years back and is still cranking out CDs for the masses.
Other than that, I don't know the others.

Welcome back Patrick, stick around and teach us a few tricks.
There was talk of doing another bag full of patches, I think that would be cool !!

    Welcome back PatrickG

I read the whole story about the bag with intrest. Would have liked to have been even a small part of it but, I only found out about it a year ago, long after it's conclusion. I have been enjoying my XJCD set now for some time. Some great time saving information in that set! I use the cross reference all the time to check on parts that could work for me when they're mis-listed on eBay. Stick around this place could always use another guru that knows their way around an XJ.

    Ciao fer now
    Ken
