Picked up another XS1100 today. An '80 standard. One owner, 4,087mi.
Missing LH side cover and lower airbox.

The guy was firm on $800. He had a few people coming. I just happened to be the first one there.
I have been looking for a XS11 standard. I really like the ride position and handling better than the special.

I've had the CB900F up for sale since Wednesday. And this morning I lowered it to my minimum $1500 just to get it out of the garage. So now I'm being flooded with calls... Kinda tight moving around 5 of them! I'll probably be selling the XS11 Special once I get the standard up and running.

Nice find on the XS11. I wish I still had the one I used to own. Had to sell at the time. Needed the money for the family. It was real loud with headers and no baffles (It was that way when I bought it). Went like a raped ape. Damn I miss that bike.

No round headlight on this one DW!
    Got the special with one.
It's also got a 4-1 which I just re-packed. Had to take it for a ride to blow it out when I had the baffle out... Snuck it out of the neighborhood one afternoon. It was definetely LOUD! At 85 I couldn't take it. Turned it around and finished the re-pack. Sounds and runs way better with the baffle in. I'm waiting to hear back from the PO about the title. I need to ask him if he did anything to it as it really screams and has 180-185lbs compression. I'm thinking 1196cc big bore kit...

That is nice. The seat looks like it belongs to a XS1100 Special, is it the one? I thought the XS11 Standars seat has the couling in the back.
I have the same addiction the the 1100, once you have one you goto have another.

Thanks. Yes, seat is original. The 78 and 79 standards had the rear cowl., 80 & 81's do not. Not really an additction here, more of an opportunist :D . I'll be selling the XS11 Special once I get title. I see your over on XS11 as well mlew.
