highway pegs

    howdy all: just bought a 1980 maxim-i 650 for my girl to ride. need highway pegs for her long legs. any ideas where to start lookin aside from here or e-bay? thanks.

    I made my own highway pegs. I bought a half inch threaded rod, some angle brackets, some u-bolts and some aftermarket pegs.

    The u-bolts connect the angle brackets to the frame. I mounted the pegs to the angle brackets.

    To keep the brackets from shifting, I put the threaded rod between the brackets using nylon lock bolts.

    Hmmm, maybe I should market these?
