I ordered a brake lever for an 82 seca 750 from bike bandit. But it doesn't match my 81 seca 750! What gives? Why would they change it? Or is the brake lever maybe just wrongly marked?

Ok, this doesn't make sense. It's a Motion Pro lever. The diagram in the OEM section shows the same part number for a 81 and 82. They must be the same, and this Motion Pro must be wrong. This is annoying, as the OEM one is 2x the price as this Motion Pro one. PITA! And the Motion Pro specifically states XJ750 '82-83.

Maybe PO changed the mount/Master cylinder on the handlebars and it's not a standard XJ fitting?

Not possible. This new brake lever don't even bolt up properly. Looks like it pulls the other way or something.
