I searched the forums, but can't seem to find the info I need. So I'm hoping someone out there might know the answer.....
It's time to put tires on my '81 XJ750RH Seca and I would like to put a little wider tire on the back. I was wondering if anyone knows if a 130/90 18 will fit without any mods?

According to my tire guy, you can go up or down 10mm (110-130) without major concern. I've never run a larger tire so I don't have direct knowledge of this. I hope some others who have will chime in.

I switched the rear wheel on my 750 Seca for one off of a 750 Maxim, which is a smaller diameter (16") wheel. It has a 130/16 on it now with plenty of room between the swingarm/shaft and the tire. So I am sure a 130/18 should work alright on yours.
