I wonder if these guys realize they are asking for something between 2 and 3 times the bike's list value and they don't even offer any information beyond the one pic (and mileage) ... Who is going to pay $6K for this?

Unless it was perfectly stored, plan on replacing all the rubber.

"how to make millions on the internet...now in paperback" the last time i saw that price for that age i believe it was on a PRISTINE! VF1000F 1984 interceptor and a 1985 GS1150ES that was from a museum with 6 miles on the odometer...the sad thing is if they are a dealership they might find some young "naive" person to buy it on payments :(:(:(

update: this is high but if i had the extra money i would pay...very nice shape

i know but some of these ...shady outfits do the financing them selfs :( , they have nothing to lose when you probaly payed next to nothing for it anyways.. i know a women who bought a car from ....a dealer ship it craped out after a month she took it back they gave her a 15 year old truck and rolled her payment from the first car into the truck payment and she wound up paying almost $600 a month for a 15 year old truck :(

Maybe we all just don't realize the value of the bikes we hold.

Heck, being a generous guy, I'd sell mine to them for $4k and they could still make $2k profit. Should we all be sending them an email offering them the untapped XJ supply potential that we all have.
