Need a tank for an 81 XJ650

    Anybody out there got something in decent condition? And what different years/models are interchangeable with and 81 XJ650 tank? Thanks.

    I'm pretty sure any xj650 750 or 900 tank will fit. Seca or Maxim. The 550s, the turbo tank, and the 1100 tank won't.

    I might be wrong about the 900 and 1100.

    Do the '81 650's use the stick on badges or the screw on badges?

    I have a tank minus the petcock that can be seen in my gallery on my bike. Its an '80 Maxim

    If your willing to fork over the cash, Bikebandit.com still sells them new. Got mine a couple years ago for a couple hundred I believe.
