Anyone know of some highway slant style SaddleBags that are small enough for the XJ700?? The top of the muffler is about.. 10" down. So somethin like, 10"H x 11L" x 5W"

Tourmaster makes some leather slant style bags that might be the right size you need. You could also check out companies like Willie and Max and Saddlemen as well. There were a few I saw on the Saddlemen web site I liked even though they wouldn't fit my bike.

Actually.. now that I think about it, if it overlaps the front seat a little thtas ok, as long as there is leg room for gf. And there is actually.. Hmmm, maybe it'll work.
Those Black Magic ones may just be perfect for the XJ700

Here's a Park Avenue Set that'll fit too. This is slick

Those are some nice looking bags. I bought the ones I have off craigs list for $35.00 including the bag holders.

Hmm I thought I had pics of mine I will try to get some up for you. I bought some from a harley shop(not a dealer aftermarket shop) they were on sale I just removed the passenger seat flopped them on lined them up I had to cut slots for the seat bracket and backrest bolts. then put the seats back on. I also had some 45's put on the pipes as I was worried about heat on the leather. Mine are not slants but you could do the same with throw overs.

Yeah I'd like that a lot!! The Black Magic Willie and Max ones are the ones I'm Currently decided on. But ALWAYS open to suggestion. They're running $130 currently... Bit pricey.. cant for a couple months.. but hey. Can dream right?
