i have one of these for my 83 xj750 but the top front part that snaps onto the bike (i think it is some sort of rubber pin) is missing. the back snap on part is fine and the bottom snap on part is broken. i was wondering if anyone knew what to call my missing piece and where to find one.

    thank you

There is a rubber ring, grommet, that goes into thathole to hold the pin tight

my front pin was broken and would allow the cover to flap in the wind, so I took a bolt of approptiate size to fit in the hole of the bike and epoxy glued the bolt to the side cover, works great for over 3 years now.
