    Me again
    Stupid question
My horn doesn't work, have not taken apart the switch on the bars yet.
Was missing one horn when I recieved the bike. Does the bike need 2 horns connected to complete the circuit. I tried to hook the one horn to a battery but nothing.
I just didn't want to purchase 2 horns if 1 is needed but don't know how to test the one horn.
    Thanks
    Sorry 85 maxim x

Most horns you ground the body and put 12V to the tab - It should sound.

Look at some of the posts on loud horns - you will need one in your area :D

One will sound solo. There is a screw on it that may need adjusting(around the rim somewhere not in the center). One is not loud or obnoxious enough IMHO. The two have different tones that are abrasive (like wrong to keys on a piano).

However, I recommend an air horn. Added a smallform air horn to mine when one of my horns went south. It is loud and get the attention you need.

Sorry guys left for the evening and had to work on my mower.
I think the problem with the horn maybe in the switch on the handlebars.
I will check this evening and get back
Thanks for all who responded. I was on the goldwing forum while I had my wings, you guys are just as great.

Might want to put your bike in the signature section of your profile. It will help people here narrow down your problems a little faster.
