    hi guys heres a silly one ive been on here for ages
    and chucked in my ten cents worth many times but
    ive just thought of something really stupid ive never
    actually tried to figure out.
    Ok here goes
    How do i know if my bikes are Maxims or Secas and
    whats the difference? :D

    If yours is a non-North American model, then it's neither! Because in the rest of the world, they didn't carry the Maxim or Seca naming, they were just an "XJ550" or "XJ650" or "XJ750" model, or variations thereof. But, almost all of the rest of the world models are what we here in North America think of as "Seca" models, they are the sportier (rather than cruiser) type models.

    thanks chacal i think both of mine are really more cruisers than sporty
