Hi Guys, when i first fire my bike and let it idle for a few minutes w/ choke my number one pipe is cold to the touch all others are plenty hot, I have spark at number 1, after riding her for 10 min #1 is hot too, im not sure if #1 carb is working right i still have too use starter fluid to get her to go in the mornings if she has sat for a day, once i ride she seems like she has plenty of power and doesnt seem to be missing allthough i have never got her to idle smoothly. any help would be great, i know you guys got the answers

    thanks
    Dave

sounds like a carb cleaning would fix ya up, idle jets may be clogged

I am guessing that the enrichment circuit in the carb bowl is plugged. There is a tiny hole that meters fuel that can easily get plugged up. When clean, carb cleaner will shoot out of the hole when the straw is placed into the hole in the carb bowl. Sorry, I don't have any pics, but that is probably what it is.

ok she is idling better now and #1 pipe seems to be as warm as others now when i give her full throttle around 6 grand rpm the clutch starts slipping, ok can i adjust that out from the cable or is this just another new problem?

    Pic,

Check those plugs. If they are white you may be on the way to burning your engine up. These bikes like lean but they don't hold up long under those conditions. The insulators should be nice tan color if running right.
