So I dropped my bike today (not a scratch on the bike or either of us) except broke the mirror and front turn signal) at a stop sign with a buddy on the back at a sandy stop sign in the rain (dumb I know). I can afford $18 for a new mirror, but was thinking about getting some new $10 or $20 turn signals on ebay and save some money from getting a OEM replacement. I'm trying to keep this as simple as possible because I don't have the knowledge or time to fiddle a lot with it. What should I keep in mind when purchasing? Can I buy LED, or should I stick to incandescent? What should I look for in easy installation? Oh, and its a 1982 XJ750 Maxim. Thanks a ton!

Don't go for LEDs unless you have the proper blinker.
The aftermarket indicators you can but at these days are just fine. There is a threaded rod goes across the frame and there is a bolt at the other and to secure the indicator. If you want to be sure you can measure the rod diameter and you can ask the seller.

Other point can be a mark on the indicator itself. I don't know hot it goes in the US but in Europe there must be a mark on the indicator otherwise it's illegal to use on the bike and maybe the bike will fail on the M.O.T. (Periodical safety check of any vehicles. Necessary to use them on the road)
