I would be willing to do some trading. I have a spare '83 750 engine. I'm rebuilding the carbs and keeping them and I'm cleaning the various engine covers and keeping those too. All else is sellable/tradeable including; a seca instrument cluster with 6,000 miles, the handlebar switch housings, driveshaft, and much more. Plus I have some other spare parts from my bike including a seat in great condition, another gauge (Not as nice), and the rear tail pieces including light.

I'm not really looking for anything in particular. But I would at least listen to any offers. I kind of want a master cylinder that would mount on my bars. PM if your interested.

I'll have an extra original right mirror pretty soon if anyone needs it. Anybody have a rack or cases that fit an 82 XJ750 Maxim? I'd love to buy it off of you....

I have a large box of parts not even sure what's in there but there's a complete headlight at least 4 indicators a pillion seat and a sissybar all for an 85' xj700. Somewhere I have a list and photos, also have 2 ignition coils for I think an xj700x.

    I have an '82 XJ550J almost complete.

Can anyone recommend a shipping service to send a used gas tank that won't cost an arm & a leg?

UPS shouldn't be too bad, that's how the salvage shop sent mine. Probably under $20.

I've got some extra Jets, Main and Pilot (110s and 40s) and a Y-10 Diaphram needle for a 650 engine. O-rings for mixture screws, washers for mixture screws. Some Float needle seats for an XJ700, no filters though.

I have some parts for a xj700 including a engine that was suppose to be running when the bike was tore apart. Cant see any reason for the PO to lie to me since the engine was in a package deal and I didn't really wanna take it (didn't know there was a place like this devoted to these old xjs then). I also have a almost complete 1980 650 parts bike. I really need pickups and a cdi unit.

If anybody needs turn signal GUTS (bulb holders, wiring, the rubber stalks) I've got a bunch of extras from parting out scruffy indicators. Plus an extra 550 Seca headlight shell or two. I've also got an extra 550 Seca seat with good foam but split cover seams that I can part with.

I don't really NEED anything right now (unless someone has a pristine #2 header pipe for a 550.)

So: turn signal bits free to good home for postage cost; PM me if you need a headlight shell.

Isn' this what the "Buy, Sell, Trade" forum is for?

I have a trunk, license holder, and tool kit for a 750 Maxim. I believe it is an 82.
I could use a brake master cylinder and handle for my 82 Maxim as somewhere along the line mine got changed to one off a Honda. Fits & works ok but just doesn't look right.

Don't replace the MC. Glass eye is replaceable. Order part from Chacal. I did and it looks like new...

Good. If the eye is bad, imagine what else may be bad in there.

After 26 years, I would drain system and clean and rebuild MC and Calipers (you'll be draining the MC any way to do the eye). Perhaps even replace the lines with stainless. You'll be amazed at the difference and its not terribly expensive (the lines are the most).

I am in need of a right front foot peg for my 83 - 750 Midnight Maxim. I bought a pair from someone on ebay last fall, but they don't match up to my bike. If anyone can help me out, it would be appreciated, and if anyone needs the pegs I have, we can make a deal. If you need a picture of them, just let me know.

I could also use a headlight ring for the 83-750 Midnight Maxim, mine has a rather large ding in it and it looks off kilter.
    Thanks

    Lisak,

Is the headlight the same as a 82 650 Maxim? and Chrome Plated or is yours black. Not sure about Mightnight trim on an 83.

Midnight Max headlight buckets are black, and the front trim ring (bezels) are golden-tinted chrome. Hen's teeth hard to find.........

Screamin650, do you have a bad TCI or is it missing? If you have a box and it isn't working, I can fix most problems on them. Parts and shipping for repair.

I have a rear wheel (hub and drive shaft included), full set of carbs that I believe came off a 650, yamaha hi-way pegs, original handle bars from a xj700, tank for an xs400. I'm looking to change the look of my 700 and want a new seat. wondering if the 750 would fit or do I have to change the rear frame.
