xj solenoid for sale....

    I bought a solenoid from the yamaha dealer 2 weeks ago and my problem ended up being the brushes in the starter. The dealer told me it was a universal solenoid and all i had to do was clip the plug off because it would not fit my bike. I have receipt showing i paid 50 bucks for it. i have box and the plug as well. if anyone is interested let me know!!!!

    the part number is ST100 and it is made by Wide Open. definitely check and make sure it will work on your bike. it is made for yamaha atv's but the dealer said it was universal. let me know what you find out. thanks!

    Steve, amigo, most solenoids will work from just about any source. Heck, a few of us have lawn mower solenoids switching our starters. Do you have a photo of this "universal" solenoid?
