So I've recieved new jets from Chacal. Fantastic service as always BTW. And now I have myself a dilema
My bikes carbs have peices of a 650 in it, i'm working on getting them all out, and putting stock 700 parts in it.
I now have the stock 107 main fuel jets. I'm about to install them, but I only have two stock 35.6 pilot jets. Chacal doesnt carry the 35.6s yet. Installed in carb 2 and 4 I have the 650s #40 pilot jets.
So what should I do?? What combo of jets should I put where?? Put the larger, 40 jets in the middle? or put the 40s on the end carbs 3 and 4? I'm at a loss.
    Any help Wizards?

Prolly runs rich right? If i had 4 40s and 110s I'd definatly install those and do that. Maybe I should have bought two more 110s and two more 40s.. instead of four 107s

On 2 wheels... just lost my hat.
I had this question too. what is the baseline step from 107's when putting on pods? I heard 2 jet sizes and then check the plugs.

No one knows for sure the exact jet size reduction for pods. Its a guesstimate that 2 jet sizes down.

But after some reading I guess the some people have found comfortable jet sizes for their pods. So I guess it can work,

Are you runnning an XJ700 on pods bottle cape? I dont see what you're driving. Indy has pods, I could see how the richer fuel would help

Cool. Thats what I needed to know 110s and 40s, bad for stock xj700s. Too rich. So yes. I'm going to stick the 40 pilots in the center and 365s on the end.
    Thanks!

if you want some more power you should do it and it is absolutely the cheapest modification you can do and get the biggest results

Na, dont need any more power. Just stable, reliable running capability. I wanna make her last for years and years and years. I'll run it like Yamaha intended it to run. Maybe, MAYBE a change to my exhuast pipes later on down the road, for which I may have to rejet. But other than that I enjoy my Stock Maxim :)

I'd have to say Boeing 777 for comfort, and F-15E for speed and overall air to air and air to ground superiority.

Used to be an F-15 avionics tech. The 777's I just like as very elegant planes.

Bottlecape: Oh ok! (put your bike in your signaure please!) the 650s stock jets are 40s and 110s. 700s are 107s and 35.6s. My PO apparently rebuilt the carbs with a 650s carbs. So I'm trying to figure out what combo would would best before I put them in. I'd had to put em in, not like it, remove, mix around again, put back in ect ect
