    Hey guys
I have searched the archives and really didn't see a place with a breakdown of fork seal replacement.
Is there a instruction list anywhere on this forum.
I have replaced seals on my 1100 goldwing which was fairly labor intensive.
Do the forks have to come off of the bike or can I leave the uppers in.
Also this bike when purchased didn't have the dust seals which kind of bothers me, so I am looking for a complete breakdown. I know I should probably have the manual but haven't gotten around to it yet.
I am in industrial Sales and it has been real bad round these parts.
    Thanks to all who respond.

    +1, Don's fork how-to is right on.

It's MUCH EASIER to take the forks off the bike; you CAN leave them on but then the handlebars will need to come off and all the other stuff up there tends to get in the way; having done it both ways I'd definitely say take the forks off.
