If you excuse the XJR 1300 that we can't get and the larger XJ 900's from 1984 and up for about 20 years that were really 900's, then in the USA, my Seca 900 , at 853 CC's pretty much rules.

It got 49 MPG in a 4 tank back-to-back test,800 miles, until I learned that I was running pretty lean. I made it a tad richer.
It goes 205 miles before hitting "reserve"
It handles pretty sweet, corners neutral, ready to dive in further than I am.
It has 3 disc brakes that I've never faded.
It will do 100 in third gear !!!!!
And I'll never see "myself" on the street. it's like having a "one-off".
Every 900 needs to be saved !!

They make a mini fairing for the Seca 550 too but I sold mine.

I like the XJR1300 just as above. This is an '05; the newer ones have a 4-1 exhaust with a "too big" single muffler can.

On 2 wheels... just lost my hat.
Maxim X has my vote. I have ridden a lot of bikes, and pound-for-pound it was and still is one of the fastest cruiser bikes ever put on the road. the look of the bike just sitting there is amazing and looks even better running through the gears at WOT.

The 1983 XJ900RK ... tuned to the edge of Insanity.

A few years ago, I took my 900 up to Laconia for a Bike Week T-Shirt.
On a nice afternoon, I reached the foothills to the Presidential Range outside Concord New Hampshire and started heading uphill.

    Everybody was showing off.
You know you bike has heart when it will climb like a Jet Fighter.
One at a time I passed everybody pushing their Bike up the grade that got a bit steeper as you sweep around every big wide turn.

The 900 was cruising. The Tach is Black until 10-Grand.

My favorite is the Seca Turbo. Unusual, reliable, quick on boost, 50+MPG off boost, comfortable, and smooth. Yes, the brakes suck, but they are better than most of the era. Flame suit is on.

I have never seen one of those Turbo Bikes.
I have no idea how any got made.

But, from listening to them discussed in Forums; I'm sure they are a lot of fun to get going and modify a little bit.
