Hopefully gettting another bike a (honda) but hear me out!

OK I was riding around today on my bike and i look and see an old Honda what looks to be 850 or 1000 sitting in a backyard in distress.

License plate said last registered in 05! pretty good. Its looking to be a 84 maybe 83. Dindnt get that great a look. Has great tires and such looks very clean.

So i go and knock ion the door but before i could the owners son who is about 28 comes out. And i ask him what his plans are for it and he says his dads just been sitting on it for a while. So i ask if i can throw him some small money for it and he says yeah i wouldn't see why he wouldn't he took my number down and is going to call me back. He also said his dad got it for like 200 or 300 bucks so im thinking 80 or 50 to get it out of his way. Its seriously very very nice condition.

Honda or not im still posting on xj bikes because this is the best site with the best people for getting help on getting this oldie back up and running.

 

Nothinh wrong with a Honda. I just got a 75 CB750. Theres a bike just in town sitting out that I've been meaning to stop and ask about. Maybe I'll cruise by tomorrow.

I picked up a running 86 vf700c for $500, and then a running parts bike for 500 from NJ CL. I have a very nice magna now
