the winter project so far (pic heavy)

    i tore it down

    cant find a pic of the cleaned and repainted frame but all rust was removed

    this is how it looks right now

    still a lot of work to do
    but progress is being made

    it wont be stock once its back together

    i am still waiting on my side covers to be cut out and to find some handle grips that i like, but here is how it looks now

    im looking for grips like this they used to be all over ebay now i cant find them anywhere anyone know who sells them?

    i bought some others on ebay that said they fit yamaha but ended up being too short.

    you should look at lowering that rear fender

    yeah i think im going to cut some length off the shocks

    i would just cut off the back part of the frame but i wouldnt know how to make the fender sturdy then
    it does look better with saddle bags though

    all mocked up and no place to go

    i put springs on the shocks that were 2 inches shorter
    cut off the back end
    mounted the rear fender

    have to clean it up and wire everything up now
