One of mine is busted- so time to get a new one (or two). Anyone LOVE their mirrors? Are they aftermarket or OEM? Where didja get em and how much were they?

Well - I'm still running the stock square chrome pair, and always been happy with them.
Only one's I've ever really thought about as replacements have been the chrome teardrop style that's used on Viragos, etc....

I just bought a custom set on ebay from a company called debrix I will have to modify them a little to bolt them on because they are supposed to bolt from underneath and not just screw in but that should be easy.

They are billet chrome ovals with the stalk a maltese cross

I'm looking for a new set o' mirrors my ownself, so I'm going to be watching this thread with interest. I did find a pair or 2 on JC Whitney's website that piqued my interest. Now if I just had some money to throw at them.

Here are the ones I am using. They have the longer stems on them so I can actually see over my shoulders instead of my shoulders. Dont vibrate at all. Can see everything behind me as well. nothing fancy but the work. The price is also a bonus.

Here are the ones from JC that I'd like to get, but I worry about that whole being able to see around/over myself thing. Of course, since my current ones just flop around, pretty much anything would be an improvement.

I was looking at the $14 oversize jobbies at jcw.com myself! I was also able to locate some oems for $28 a pair- but I'm thinking I need all the help I can get for visibility. I saw some really nice ones on ebay too- but wonder about the quality and etc. With JCW- you can send em back and get a refund if they don't work out. On ebay- you don't often have that sort of security.

I bought a pair of Knock-off's -- OEM style, chrome. Copied-off real well. too. Even had reverse threaded right hand mirror. I'm still tweaking the adjustment. But, they're nice, look good and are out-there and wide enough for a real safe look on both sides.
