Will 1982 xj650 carb to intake boots fit on a 1985 xj700? They look similar...

I need two new ones for my 700 as well. Hard as stones, and taped on the airbox side

Methinks you're thinking of the Carb-to-Airbox ones -- those are cheap.
He's talking about the Carb-to-Intake side -- those are around $50 each.

They aren't listed for the xj700 (odd... it clearly points to #13 on the list, but no 13 is present.)

They look the same... I know chacal has them 19.95 a piece.

    I just ordered one. :D

SLK-b4 I knew of chacal, I'd get them at the dealer, for some reason, the one about an hour (they are worth it) stocked them.

As for the intake boots, I'd check ebay, you can usually find them there for a decent price. I'd give you a set of an xj700 air head, but I'm off to Iraq on Saturday for 3 months and wouldn't have the time to get them off to you...I might even have a set from an x...trying pinging designer_mike, he's out of Nazareth Pa...just got some parts off him today. Good guy
