SHAFT REAREND

    What SAE oil rating do you use in the rearend on these XJ's? I am thinking 90 wt. but I bought a litre of 90 wt this morn and boy does it look thick!

    Thanks for the speedy reply Richard and I will go to Surin now and try and find this oil. As I live in no mans land here next to Cambodia and you're lucky if what you get isn't used motor oil...

    KHUNDAN, I've always used 85/95 wt. hypoid gear oil and it has been fairly easy to find. Cambodia? I'm sure this will be just a bit more difficult to locate out there but Yamaha, BelRay, Castrol, and a few other companies I forget do make it. Good luck at the races on the 17th!
