    Is the clunk test done with or without the carb caps on or off?????,
    or am i being awfull stupid, im getting 2 very different results with & without the caps, without the caps they fall like a ton of stone, with the caps they all fall @ a different pace, slowish....!!

    With the caps on, they should come down nice and smooooth...

    It's done with the cap off... I am guessing the diaphragm is experiencing a bit of a vacuum due to the cap being on... could be wrong though.

    Best bet is to take them off.
