Took the mass motorcycle school thing on Mon/Tues got my license (along with a %10 discount on my insurance) just in time for bike week. Got my bike inspected and it passed no problem. I was Legit and ready to go to bike week, if only my bike good stay in one piece.

Left today, June 13th (first day of bike week), at 7am and stopped for breakfast and headed up to Laconia with me on my Seca 750, my Dad on his HD Road King, And two friends one on a New Suzuki boulevard and one with an '81 windjammer Goldwing. We followed the man on the gold wing all the way up to Weir's Beach.

I Knew I was leaking some oil but I figured it was either the Oil drain plug or the filter O-ring. So the night before I replaced both of those and out in some new oil. I am definitely still leaking a little but it seems to be coming from the oil level sensor, not somewhere else. I planned ahead though and brought some extra oil.

We stopped in Manchester, NH at KC's Rib Shack (highly recommended) on our way home. When we stopped for gas I calculated my MPG and figured I got above 49MPG, which is by far the best MPG I have ever gotten.

Everything ran great and it was a great ride up there and back, I rode a total of 250 miles, by far the most I've rode in one day. I bought a shirt and some grips up there, the grips are nice looking and I started putting them on tonight but I still have to finish them and button up the controls.

I had a great time and really enjoyed it, but, if I go again this week or next year I am going to go to a different part of it, it seemed like Weir's beach was full of food vendors and T-Shirt salesmen.

I'm riding my XJ up there (From Binghamton NY) this Wednesday morning.
My brother lives in Manchester, so i've had the pleasure of eating at KC's several times.

I'll be up there from Wed to Sat, but "commuting" each day from Manchvegas.

Weather doesn't look to great for the Mt. Washington ride on Thursday...

Glad you had fun. Did you Wheelie across the channel bridge at Weir's Beach? I do that every year i go. Kind of a tradition.
