    Hi,

I purchased some carb rebuild kits and while I thought the screens were included, they weren't. I need to figure out how to get the old screens off and reuse them. Do those just snap on? How are they attached?

    Thanks.

If you mean the small round mesh "beany" filters then yes, they prise off. There are a couple of notches at the bottom to help.

Yep, that's the piece. Thanks. It didn't screw off and I hesitate to use force until I know for sure.

With mine, I just used a very small screwdriver to get into the slot and prised off. They just clip back on afterwards but be careful not to damage the mesh as it is quite fragile.

They shouldn't really be necessary if you have a good inline filter in place, I believe. I don't believe they serve any purpose other than to filter out large floaties ...

After-market Float Valve Body's do not have Beenie Screens.

There's no way to use the ones off the old ones.

You don't need them. Run a Quality Inline Filter.
