I think I may have an extra set (round signals,if I am not mistaken). Not showroom, but very useable. Cover shipping and they're yours.

wires cut short not an issue, the lights will come apart completely, and put new wires on them, good time to clean up the contacts inthe socket..

looking at my 82 750 I could use the mounts from one of those and use the round signals off of a 650. That might work.

i got the stock rectangular rear rurn signals on my 82 750 maxim im willing to sell (swapping for LED). In very good shape, just the nomal scratches and wear for a 27 year old part. Ill just need like a week or so to get the new ones in and send the old one out, since i dont want any down time on my bike. PM if interested

I could use just the mounts less the lamp housings. I have enough parts to make two good round signal lamps. So if you want to sell me the stems and the brackets they go on let me know.

    Thanks

I still have the stock stems and housings that are in nearly perfect shape from an 82 xj650rj seca. They're round and I think the same as your originals. The wires are cut somewhat short, but are usable. PM me if you're interested.

The search is still on. 83 rear signals must be harder to find than 82's

MN, what are the signals supposed to look like? Round? what kind of stem? square, round, all steel or rubber?

Ok after checking the parts break down on the Yamaha website. The signals are round just like the 650 Maxims but the stays are rubber. They are different then the 750 stems. The 82 750 stems have a squared part that the signal goes over to hold it straight. The 83 stems are rubber but round with a slot for the mounting screw to go through.

So I cant use the 82 stems.
