    Welcome!

I'm starting to notice a pattern... A good deal of XJ owners are either HAMs, military folks, or computer techs.

    What's the deal with that?...

Post some pics of your progress with the bike, or we will taunt you

    73s,

I'm an emergency room nurse, a part time tech head and a full time xj rehab engineer. :) As for military, I was awarded the rank of 2nd Lt in the ROTC.

I know, that's not true military.

Rockin' the stereotype - I'm in IT, though I'm trying to break into writing for television/movies.

I'm also a vet (30 years) who started out as a radar repair technician. I do however maintain a legendary reputation for computer illiteracy (which I guard jealously).

We HAMs, as we are known, are amateur radio operators. Not only do we use the radio for personal communication, but we also use them for severe waether spotting and emergency situations (those cell towers won't always be operational.)

See the following links for more information:

welcome! I don't fit the mold either. Welder/fabricator and musician. Most of the guys I work with are Harley guys, but they don't give me any crap cause the bike's far from stock.

I am an AF vet who used to be an electronic technician. I mostly worked on audio, radio, and TV, But I did build the computer I'm using now. Never got into ham, but I once had a CB in my car. Actually, my bike has one too, but I never use it. I drive a truck now.

Anyway, Welcome. And no question is too annoying for us! :D
