Shortly after putting clear fuel line on my 86 XJ it became stiffer and yellowed. I think that next time I will put on regular black fuel line because it remains flexible and does not stiffen.

Does anyone have any comments about this or can someone suggest a good quality clear fuel hose?

I have yet to find a decent clear hose... same issues. I'd be interested if someone has had a different experience as well.

how about silicone hose? Im not sure if youre using PVC, but im sure that wouldnt last too long, and they sell it as clear fuel hose.

I know remote control cars use silicone fuel lines for the nitromethane/alcohol mixture... Im sure it could hold up to gas if it could take that stuff.. Maybe hit up a hobby store... I know that stuff is temperature resistant too.

Im sure others have tried this but i havent heard much about it. I just use the auto store fuel hose and worm style clamps with a 90* plastic filter.

Go to a local "commercial' lawn mower shop where the Yards services guys go. Buy some TYGON fuel line.. Yellowish, but see through It will outlive your Yamaha,
