When I bought my bike it looked like crap. It had sat outside for two yrs. My gf thought I would never get it running. It has came along pretty good for only really working on it for about two months. I still need to get the seat redone, finish the paint, replace the rear tire, replace the horn, and tune it up a little better than I have it right now. I do want to upgrade a few things like the mirrors, grips, signal lights, and maybe some clamp on highway pegs. Anybody else got before and after pics? Here is mine.

From what I understand the 750 seat won't fit the 650. Of course if I'm wrong I would be interested. I have had no luck getting one off ebay unless I bid really high. I always get out bidded at the last moment. I was just gonna see how much it will cost to get a new cover made for it. Anyways thanks for the offer.

Yeah I saw that one. The ones I was bidding on was way less than the buy it now price on that one. Which is more than I want to spend. Thanks for looking though.

Good work! Having run paint and body shops for 35 years I have a real appreciation of a good rebuild. :)

Your bike looks great. I need to get my seat redone...

Here's my Before & after pics

I'm not sure if I had more fun rebuilding it, or riding it. I might need to try another to see...

I purchased bike in a barn sale and I believe it had been sitting for 18 years. I went through everything-soaked the motor internals in mystery oil, carbs were a solid mass of caked dirt/rust as was the tank etc. etc. It took 8 months to find all the parts. Only thing not original: mirrors are from a Maxim.
