I need a new tank. I was doing 40 when my frony brake locked and sent me to the ground. My tank now has a fist size cave on the right side. If anyone has one or knows where to get one, that would really help. 650 or 750 maxim. Thanks.

Ouch hope you are ok. It may be cheaper to pull the dent and repaint then to get a new one. But good luck in your search.

Sorry to hear about that. If you want I got a tank here at my place and if you are interested in it let me know. You could come down and take a look at it if you want.

Glad your ok. I'm just curious what caused your front brake to just lock up "out of the blue". Maybe you should check it out before putting another tank on, or getting back on it yourself. Just MHO.

Return hole on the master cylinder was plugged with gunk. Brake fluid stayed down in he calipers and heated up, then expanded quickly. I broke a thumb and have a thumbprint size raspberry on my left elbow. Surprisingly, that;s it. And no, I wasn't wearing a helmet. Thanks guys.
