Welcome. PM Chacal on this site for your parts needs. Good prices and fast shipping.

You need to use the PM facility to send him your needs and Chacal will answer you promptly. You can view his "catalog" under supporting vendors. Len is a great guy to deal with I buy tons of stuff from him.

My 650 does not have the same setup but IMHO the system works well on the 750 when operating properly.

I ditched the original master on my XJ750 and put an FZR M/C on..

You'll have to change the switchblock as well (because the lever is built in), or grind off the lever perch.

You could use any M/C really - as long as it's from a donor bike with the same number of front discs. But if you want to keep the Yamaha name on there, try FZR600 / 1000, or Radian (?) or YZF600 / 1000.

It's an FZR M/C - and the switchblock is a Suzuki one that I re-wired to the XJ connector (long story...).

I also used an FZR switchblock on the LHS because the PO had butchered the indicator switch on the XJ one.

I had all this stuff in the garage, so it was an obvious choice.

Just check on ebay, and you'll find something for a decent price. I ended up using a brembo MC off a ducati and it works great.
Mine used to have that same MC like yours, behind the square headlight. I have 2 working ones if you're interested. If you're going to do the conversion for a MC mounted on the handlebar, consider the TOTAL cost, like brake lines which can run you a good $60 or more and the double banjo fitting bolt which is another $10 plus the MC and the brake fluid.

This is my MC, on a different handlebar now though.

A closer look while I had it mouted to my drag bars.

You'll need to get new brake lines. Either 2 lines straight from the M/C to each caliper (like xulf13 has above), or 1 line to a splitter, then 2 lines to the calipers (like I did).

And you can still use the anti-dive.
