Adding MORE info to Signatures.

There seems to be a need to add some more information to the signature section ...

How many miles on the bike?

Looking at your signture and being able to determine how many miles are on the machine will go a long way toward helping figure-out what might or might-not be at fault!

 

Rick I have been thinking the same thing but I would rather see it added to the profile. That way we ASK for the info instead of reling on them to provide it. Most of us need to know the bike first,(550, 650, 750, 900, turbo, Maxim, Seca,) Year and then miles would help.

Agree it can be useful, But I'm a lazy bugger so I am happy to see the info at a glance rather than go hunting for it.

Would like to see a button next to the profile and email buttons that you click on to see a bike history(Brief one Rick :wink: ) so a small popup would show bike details/history/mods. Just a simple log format.

You rode that 900 to the Moon ... I've a '83 900 USA. I treat it like Royalty.
I change the oil every 2,000 - 2,500 miles. Runs like a Rolex. I'd love to think I'll get 100,000 miles on her.

Not the Moon - Just around a lot of Europe for a few years running!!!

Has had a few scrapes and kissed the tarmac more than once, but she keeps on running - that's what I like about XJ's

Maintenance is usually just before a long trip, or if something goes wrong or sounds not-quite-right.

 

Also, as much as I would like to, I can't take credit for doing all that mileage.

Picked the 900 up in 2000 with 7 previous owners and 74000 on the clock.So I've only done 62000 on it, but it still handles well (better than when I got it anyway!!)

 

Here's my "New" suggestion for bike info in your signature.
