I got my 1981 XJ650H for $100 in July of last year in Youngtown AZ. It had been sitting since 1995. I rebuilt the carbs(3 times like so many have), changed the oil/filter, plugs, rebuilt the petcock, new fuel and vac lines, and fixed the dents in the tank. Now, another Yamaha comes back from the grave! Thanks to this site and all who have helped a noob out

:D I did the long hair thing for a while. Doesn't fit under my helmet very well.
