Anybody know about these bikes? I have a friend that just bought one and we got it semi running last night(flushed out tank, wuik cleaned the carbs) just to see if it would run. Today I have the carbs completley torn down and there are two small diaghrams (one in each carb) That are bad you can see threw them. I cann't locate the parts by themselves just kits that are $85 each Ouch! I know the ol' silicone trick to at least get him by but it would be nice to find the right parts. Anybody Know if there are things that I need to check particular to this bike? It is a two speed automatic tran bike no clutch. Oh he is looking for a manual for it but does anyone know the float hieght specs in the mean time?

    thx, Ken

float height should be like 11.5mm and as for your diaghrams you probably wont find them by there self any cheaper but you could fill your holes with liquid electrical tape it seemed to work well on my KZ440 and after doing so i rode for 2 years with no problems then i sold it and he is still riding it

Well it lives and the carbs don't leak anymore WooHoo! Now for him to get a proper air filter and the are cutoff valve diaghrams to replace the old ones. I took it around the block yesterday Eve. He still want sto add turn signals and go thru the wiring since it is cut up pretty bad. It starts easy with the kickstart. and with the E start but with a battery charger but the battery is toast. I need to get pics of it up it is a pretty slick looking bike not stock at all.

On 2 wheels... just lost my hat.
my boss at work has one and he loves the thing. the parking brake in place of the clutch was a bit different. anyone trying to steal it and thinking it is a standard clutch will have a huge surprise the first time they pull it.

I used to be the general manager for a Honda Dealership around the time Honda sold those Hawk automatics - they also made a 750 automatic as well before the 450 twin auto. We sold a few but not as many as Honda figured we would. I took one for a test ride and started calling it a "mush-o-matic" but my girlfriend at the time rode one and absolutely loved it. Don't have a manual for it though, but your post brought back a few memories.
