Well, I'm out of Pittsburgh making my way west.

Right now I'm somewhere in Indiana about to cross the border into Illinois. I just stopped at a Star Bucks to upload some audio books on my iPod.

I think I might just run through the entire Harry Potter series by the time I reach my destination.

Well, that's all I got for now. I'll tell you all about how my trip is going next time I stop for a break at a place with WiFi

    Wish me luck!

Way to go! Another epic XJ journey! If your travels bring you to the Toronto area, you've got a garage and a place to stay.
    thx,

He guys, thanks for the support.

Omaha Nebraska now. I'm using the wifi at Buffalo Wild Wings.

This morning started out rough. I woke up to a thunder storm and torrential rain. Not an hour into my trip, did some lady stop right in the middle of the road. I knew exactly what was going to happen, but I had to slam on my brakes too. This time, a little more damage to me, and a little less damage to the bike.

My ankle is showing a little meat, and my left arm is a little stiff, but it could have been way worse.

That was about 300 miles ago, and I'm already feeling better. I slept late today and I still have a few good hours left in me. I think I can knock out a couple hundred more miles before I have to look for a camp ground or inexpensive motel.

I'll give y'all another update next time I find a wifi spot.

it just occurred to me that if you posted your intended route, maybe some folks here can suggest cool detours or you might have better luck finding an open garage that way.

Wow, I just realized that you left P-Burgh Friday and made it to Nebraska and then the Rockies in 2 days! You're killing it out there man. I ride for 2 hours and I'm ready for a nap.

    Hahaha, yeah.

I just slammed it through the Midwest. I am starting to feel it now though.

Yesterday I went from Yuma, CO to Grand Junction. That was under 400 miles. The Rockies were awesome, but it was a rough ride. I was pretty exhausted and was tempted to just sleep in the grass and not even bother setting up my tent.

It's 2:00 pm now and I haven't even left grand Junction

I'm going to try and push through Utah today and then try and wrap up my trip tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. Might need an extra day.

Well, guess we'll just see what happens!
