    Economic times are forcing my sale of my vt500 Shadow. :( for me but :D for someone out there!!
    I hate to do it, but it's time she goes to a new home. The build process was documented here . There's a lot more pics here. It was also in last years Beautiful Bike contest on another forum and almost won for Sept. here and she even won 2nd place in her first motorcycle show last year!!
    She runs good but really needs a carb rebuild. The motor is a replacement that I put in 3 years ago so I can't tell you anything about miles on the motor. She currently has the turn-down exhaust but I will slash cut the ends to the new owners preference if so wanted. Tach is not hooked up. The replacement motor didn't have the tach assembly on it. I'm offering this bike on this forum for a day or two, then by Friday it goes for sale publicly. If your lookin' for a one-off build that's affordable and rideable, you'll never find another one like her...anywhere ! :D
